Never before has the employer asked for concessions of this size and scope.  The employer has chosen to pick a fight with Nurses, whose primary focus is providing safe patient care, ensuring the rights of patients and advancing nursing practice.

These negotiations have brought to light there is a national orchestration by hospitals employers to enforce the lowest acceptable standards of care n areas of patient safety, patient advocacy, and patient protecting.

This is our profession and our patients need us to have a contract that protects our rights as Nurses to provide safe patient care and to be strong advocates for our patients.  Our proposals allow Nurses to continue to provide the highest level of care while advancing the profession of Nursing.  Our patient’s future depends on nursing being a profession that brings in and mentors new members. We need you to get involved and seek information.  Join us in informational picketing.  Wear our stickers, lanyards, and red.  Stand together and show support for your bargaining team and demand Advocacy, Safety, and Protection.
