In response to hospital administration placing increasing amounts of tasks and responsibilities on charge nurses, we will be holding charge nurse forums. We have heard from MNA members across the organization that more support and training is needed for nurses who are new to serving as charge. Seasoned charge nurses, please join us for a conversation about common challenges you face when working as charge, share your success stories when advocating for safer staffing on your units, and help to craft advice and best practices for our upcoming generation of charge nurses.
