The first interaction a new employee has with their union is a critical moment for fostering long-term engagement. This training equips union leaders with the tools and strategies to conduct effective orientations that inspire new members to participate actively in their union. From structuring a compelling orientation program to building personal connections, participants will leave with actionable skills to strengthen their bargaining units. (2.5 contact hours)

NOTE: Bargaining units may also request in-person training through their Labor Relations Specialist, with the option to include members from nearby facilities.
