Short staffing has been a chronic challenge for registered nurses for at least a decade and is getting worse. It puts patients at risk, and leads nurses to cut back on their hours, leave bedside nursing, or leave the profession entirely. Employers have put nurses in an impossible situation, choosing between their job and their license. This education will give MNA nurses advice on the best ways to advocate for their patients and protect themselves from retaliation or discipline. (2.0 contact hours)
