During the 2023 legislative session, nurse power at the Capitol helped pass the Nurse and Patient 
Safety Act of 2023 which includes student loan forgiveness for RNs and nursing faculty.
The Minnesota Loan Forgiveness Program for registered nurses at nonprofit hospitals is accepting applications now! Applications for Nurse Faculty Loan Forgiveness will be available in November 2023.
