Nurses at Methodist Hospital’s Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab vote for MNA representation

(St. Louis Park, MN) – December 15, 2025 – This week a group of Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park voted overwhelmingly to join the Minnesota Nurses Association.

This decision comes as nurses rallied to have a seat at the table with management and demand fair compensation in line with their colleagues at Park Nicollet and other HealthPartners facilities.

“The nurses of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab bring an exceptional level of dedication and care to patients, and we deserve fair compensation for the care provided” said Patti Robinson, RN. “We chose to unionize to ensure we are able to best support our patients continued high-quality health care.”

This vote marks a significant victory for Methodist Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab nurses who pushed forward despite waiting over 40 days during the federal government shut down to file union authorization cards while withstanding anti-union rhetoric from hospital management.

Methodist Hospital Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab nurses will join a growing number of healthcare professionals united in solidarity under MNA. Their collective voice will allow them to address rapid changes in hospital policies and workloads without sacrificing high-quality patient care.
