Show your union pride and have some fun at the State Fair on Labor Day! Join hundreds of your union sisters and brothers at the Sept. 5th Labor Day Parade. It starts at 2 p.m. at the parade lot across from the fair on Como Ave (in between the East Como and West Como parking lots). Line-up is at 1 p.m.

MNA members in good standing (and their family) who walk in the parade will get free State Fair admission tickets. You will receive your ticket upon signing in for the parade and then once the parade is over, you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy the fair!

Nurses are making clear that they want elected officials who will show up with actions, not just words, to put patients before profits. Elected officials are in a unique position to hold hospital executives accountable to patients and nurses; we need to hold those officials accountable to us. To build accountability with candidates, we need to build electoral power among nurses. As hospital executives are cutting checks to candidates and whispering in elected officials’ ears, candidates need to hear our voices and feel our power, so they remember who they are accountable to.

An American Heart Association class to become certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Class end times may vary depending on student needs. (Contact hours TBD)
A CURRENT BLS certification is REQUIRED BEFORE attending this class.
LIMITED CLASS SIZE.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
REGISTRATION CLOSES 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLASS.
YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS.
