The time to pass pro-nurse, pro-patient legislation is NOW!

With a newly elected pro-nurse majority at the state legislature, we have an opportunity to pass the legislation we need to improve nursing and patient care in Minnesota. To do this, nurses need to share their stories with legislators during Nurses Day on the Hill, February 15th, 2023. As hospital executives are cutting checks and whispering in elected officials’ ears, candidates need to hear our voices and feel our power, so they remember who they are accountable to. Members will be calling nurses to recruit them for this important day of action. MNA staff will train everyone before calls begin to ensure you have all the tools for meaningful conversations.

This event is meant to gather information from community members about the proposed merger between Sanford Health and Fairview Health Services. MNA members should use this invite to register.
