Health insurance terms, finance, and premium development are hard to understand and it impacts every union member. This session presented by Cindy Young is designed to help you understand health insurance terms, premium development, insurance industry cost containment tricks, and how to help you prepare for the 2022 Plan Year.

• New trends and employer/insurance industry tricks

About Cindy Young:
Cindy started her career at H.E.R.E., Local 2 in San Francisco as the Director of Research in 1985. She served as the Senior Health Policy Advisor at California School Employees Association (CSEA), where she provided advice and counsel on healthcare legislative strategy, and assisted in bargaining health insurance for 225,000 classified school employees in California. Cindy served as the Regulatory and Policy Specialist for California Nurses Association (CNA), and continues to work with nurses throughout the U.S. on healthcare issues and reform.
